Incident Report Request

To request a copy of an incident report for an incident to which the Broad River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department has responded, kindly complete the form provided below. It is essential to note that the incident in question must have occurred within the primary response area of the Broad River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.

NOTICE 

• Most fire incident reports are treated as public records and are subject to disclosure under state open records laws. 
• Patient names, addresses, and details of medical treatment are highly protected and will be redacted or withheld entirely unless requested by the patient, a legal guardian, or a subpoena.
• Reports are generally not released while a fire investigation or criminal probe is actively ongoing.
• Fire origin & cause investigative reports must be obtained through the entity who investigated, usually the County Fire Marshal's Office.
