Serve Your Community. Make a Difference.
Broad River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department is proud to serve the Broad River community, and we couldn't do it without the support of dedicated volunteers and community members. Whether you're interested in responding to emergencies, supporting department events, or helping behind the scenes, there are many ways to get involved.
No matter your experience or background, there is a place for you to make a positive impact.
Become a Volunteer Firefighter
Volunteer firefighters are the backbone of our department. They respond to fires, motor vehicle crashes, medical emergencies, rescue incidents, and other emergencies while serving their neighbors and community.
As a volunteer firefighter, you'll receive training, gain valuable skills, and become part of a team committed to protecting the Broad River community.
No previous experience is required - we provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Become an Emergency Medical Responder
If you have an interest in emergency medical services, volunteering as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or medical responder is another rewarding way to serve. EMS volunteers provide compassionate care to patients and work alongside firefighters during medical emergencies and rescue incidents.
Join Our Auxiliary
The Broad River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Auxiliary plays an important role in supporting the department through fundraising, community events, public education, and member support.
If you enjoy organizing events, helping with community outreach, or volunteering behind the scenes, the Auxiliary is a great way to make a meaningful contribution.
