The North Carolina Fire Code and Buncombe County ordinances require all buildings to have their assigned numerical address clearly posted and visible from the roadway.

This requirement helps firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, and other emergency responders locate your home or business quickly during an emergency. Clearly visible address numbers can save valuable time when every minute matters.

Broad River Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department offers custom address signs featuring your house or business address numbers. These signs can be mounted on your home, business, mailbox, or a post.

Each sign is made from high-grade metal with reflective numbers and meets the minimum reflectivity and size standards required by the fire code and county ordinance. Signs are available in vertical or horizontal formats.

Address signs are available for $20.00 per sign. The funds go to our department Auxiliary so feel free to make any charitable donation.
